Adrienne Carney

Adrienne joined Abiomed in April 2020 and serves as the Global Head of Human Resources after serving as director, HR Business Partners for four years.  Adrienne serves on both the Abiomed Leadership Team and the MedTech Global HR Leadership Team.
 
At Abiomed, Adrienne plays a pivotal role in driving organizational design and workforce planning initiatives to support the company’s rapid growth.  She leads global efforts contributing significantly to the company’s expansion, while achieving exceptional employee engagement scores and retention rates.  Her global HR team has an enhanced focus on talent and capability building, workforce planning, organization & job design, diversity & inclusion and employee & manager coaching.  
 
Adrienne has developed a true passion for driving high performance cultures and enabling business strategy through talent.  Through her tenure with Walmart and Marriott International, Adrienne successfully drove organizational success through effective people strategies and was known for her ability to foster engagement, drive performance and lead change across diverse environments.  
 
Adrienne is an alumna of Bentley University, where she earned a BS in business management, and Suffolk University, where she earned a MS in human resources.  She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family, including husband Casey and their three children.
