Swiss Man Returns To Active Lifestyle Following Heart Attack
Seppi from Lucerne, Switzerland, always considered himself to be healthy and never experienced any issues with his heart. One morning, after drinking his routine cup of coffee, he began to feel nauseous. He called for help and was quickly transported to Lucerne Cantonal Hospital Heart Center. The cardiologist, Dr. Florim Cuculi, identified Seppi was in cardiogenic shock and knew his heart needed immediate support. He implanted the Impella CP® device to provide hemodynamic support and allow Seppi’s heart to rest and recover.
Today, he’s back to painting, enjoys an active routine, and he cherishes every adventure with his partner, Conny.
